My motivation for creating SmrSimple was to organise the custom maps available for Sid Meier’s Railroads! and make them more accessible to new users.

The SMR map making community, originally focused around HookedGamer‘s HookedOnRailroads forum, has done an incredible job of creating many enjoyable maps. Thanks to the work of those at vzbob’s forum these maps now use a consistent data structure and installation method.

Over the years bits of HookedOnRailroads got moved to Smr Simple to the point where now everything that used to be at HookedGamers is here.

It is my intention to keep SmrSimple running indefinitely so please enjoy your stay and check out the maps.
