Sorry, what I meant was that we have been running some GP38-2s thru our paint shops! A few minor structure changes are in the works, but so far they use the exact same DIFFs. The one in the Forgery Department right now will be needing a new skin.

I just finished this one.....anybody know what it is?

Then I guess I won't see any SD40-2's or a GP40 for awhile. :(

Right now there is something else in the Construction Department.

Also, if the wheels are controlled by the Dummies NIF, The wheels may either not turn, or the solution may take a bit longer.

You would need to swicth the under body with the dash nine trucks for a better resemblance.

That's an E8, wrong body style and to long.

Burlington_Northern_3140 wrote:You would need to swicth the under body with the dash nine trucks for a better resemblance.
You could, but while you're doing that you could just as easily stretch the body to get it to be a real one. I think those were mainly passenger haulers tho, and we don't need any more of those, an F3A and an F3B would do fine.

Come on people...a little more research, after all, I do lots of that for the company, let's see you do some....then maybe I'll do it as a Milwaukee Road.....

I guess I will have to learn how to use blender at some point. I was looking at a tutorial on how to use a mesh since I saw mesh somewhere in nifskope and thought that must be what is used to create trains for the game and never read past the first paragraph since it refered to other tutorials. I guess I will read them soon.

Your dual Milwakee Road engine will be a true american engine since I figured out how how to move decals! You will see this come out first: http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.p ... 54&nseq=16 then I would like to know how to add a new decal for the update of the original. I will have to make a bit less accurate Milwakee road cab on the original if I don't figure out how to add a new decal.

Well, since you are determined to try a 3 decal engine, attached are the three files for the GP38s having 1, 2 and 3 decals. If you are looking for front and/or rear decals, I guess you already know you need to add them on the DDS.

If you are wanting to put that plate on an engine as in the picture, you can do it with decal_0 or decal_1, you just have to move it out from the engine.
