Its not in the spirit of the game.

Myself, I'd play like the real world, tho it seems a lot of people think it's wrong. When BN came thru this town they needed to go in a East-West direction. But IC had run a track North-South thru it. BN simply got the OK to build a crossing track, Since it can be done in the game, do it. If the other player sees fit to block you, feel right in crossing his track. Turn-about is fair play.

But then, as I said, a lot of people think this, reality, is wrong.

PS, real RRs don't just lay track to keep the competition locked in.... Won't allow one, don't allow the other.
I'm correct 97% of the time..... who cares about the other 4%....

BTW I don't really care if people tracksneak anymore.

However, I did want to make a final point on the issue that never got touched upon. Regarding the tracks, even though as we said there's no switching post or whatever 90% of the time.... There's one other problem with the claim that it's "realistic"..... That is that the trains go THROUGH eachother, one doesn't wait for the first one to go through first. And that's like a basic law of physics or something right...something about 2 things in the same place at the same time?

Either way, I don't really care anymore and don't call anyone out on it these days, ...why? Because it means they are building crappy tracks...pretty hard to make nice, flat, straight tracks with tracksneaking, so have at it.
