I am definitely going to be keeping an eye on this. The Graphics look plain enough that I'm going to assume the focus is on game depth. The "Seven cities" thing though is worrying since it implies a lack of world generator. The "Advanced economy" IMHO is what will make or break it.

Cities Xl 2011 might also be good, although the original was a bust. Sad that Sim City 4 was the last decent game of its genre, wait Tropico 3 was good.

Thanks for sharing the video - the graphics look good, the transport system looks complex enough, but I agree the 4 cities feature is limiting. Only time will tell.
I still use Simcity4 fairly regularly, the huge amount of user content has kept it alive for the past few years. Projects like NAM add so much to that 'old' game.
Like you I was looking forward to Cities XL, but the payment system and lack of transport options put me off it completely. RT3 is still a favourite of mine too.
