Has anyone experienced this? I bought and installed the game today played for a while before I checked the website and found there was a 1.10 patch for the game already. When i tried to install the patch it showed me this after asking for my preferred language:
"The setup has detected that no version of Sid Meier's Railroads! is installed.
This update requires that a previous version of the application be installed."
Is there another patch before the 1.10 I should install first? Is it the holiday patch or something?
My directory is: C:\Program Files\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!
Any help on the subject would be appreciated.
Patch 1.10 cannot find the game
That is correct, the only way to patch a D2D game is to get on the D2D site and search for available patches from there.snoopy55 wrote:I'm sure someone will either verify or correct this, but I do believe you have to get the patches from the D2D sight if you have the game from the D2D sight. Something in the way it's written.
The patches which Firaxis release on their site are only supported for the normal CD/DVD based purchased media, not D2D.
