Ahh Glasshopper, while you must enjoy youw game, you must also watch fo the viscous Led Dome of Death
When the 2 of you install it again, go into GLOBAL RRT_Industries.xml and do a search for Falafel Food Plant. It will have 2 Grain in, Food out. Delete the following lines, no more, no less:
<Resource>
<Input>Grain</Input>
<Output>Food</Output>
<InputOutputRatio>1.0</InputOutputRatio>
</Resource>
Installer Boll Weevil being looked into.
Checked out Luxar Cattle Farm, loaded 3 shipments of 4,4,3. Cattle Farm is standard.
I'm correct 97% of the time..... who cares about the other 4%....

ONE MORE TIME
Don't reinstall it. Just open GLOBAL RRT_Goods.xml, find Cotton down at or near the bottom and you'll see <uiY>16</uiY> twice. Replace both with a 64. Don't change the <uiHeight> number.
As to the Arms and Automobiles, those are not placed, so you have to build one to have one. That we can blame on Daryl
Now, it's 4 in the morning so I'm going to bed.....I think....maybe.....

Has anyone else tried to play this game??
Has anyone else tried to save it after running the game for say 5 minutes etc.
All works excepts crashes to desktop CTD on save.

Nah those are money items Snoop, if you can afford to start making those for delivery then you should be able to make your own factories. I also think in some cases it makes for a better game cause the big items won't be as easily availible.
When I left the map used to work for the icons and annexes so I am not sure why so much had to be changed with the map unless other mods and stuff were causing problems. I know the Christmas map and Mid East conflicted but I corrected it by releasing an updated file for both of them to work with each other.

Hello d53642 yeah your original map plays ok
Its snoopy55's new version, (we have two maps now) has the extra cotton, which snoopy55's fix above worked.
I like the new ports etc and some of the remodelling. More to come apparently!
I have not been to this location but I would think a desert is flat and this map has more hills than the Himalayas mountain range.
Once snoopy55 gets this working it would be good to run a roller over the map and flatten it out.
Have you tried this version yet and try a save and see what happens.

I can flatten the map at anytime and repost the tga files for snoop. Thats np for me to do, but I don't have it installed right now.
Installing maps one at a time to see what will work for me and what won't.

Search the Internet for Desert Pics and you'll see monsterous dunes. The only real problem would be loosing your tracks to the dunes...

snoopy55 have you had a chance to look at why your map crashes on save??
PS I loaded the map into the editor and I rolled the sucker semi flat with a few high dunes and some of the coast still hilly. Sort of evened it up a bit.
PS the origanal map was very real looking.
Thats one of the thigs I like about this game you tweak stuff to suit.
Yep i have seen pics very hilly I know but I like wide open spaces for large trains.

Haven't had a chance to look into it yet. I'll try in the next day or two, depending on the weather.

Thanks snoopy55
I have checked the xml with Notepad++, resavaed globals for timestamp.
I'm keen to know what you find as I would like to know what to troubleshoot and look for. If I had some time I would reverse engineer what you added by removing the extra bits one step at the time as the maps plays ok. Seems to me it cant find something.
