SMR Trian skins

Holiday Special..
This is my V3 of the 484_gs_2

To instal extract whole folder to your SMR custom assets

the skins are # _v3

(firaxis=_default,_v1--livery= _v2)

If you dont have the livery skin pack rename all 4 skin maps to_v2
If you have others these will need to be named accordingly


BY downloading any of these skins You agree to the terms
These files are free to use and distribute
Provided the original readme is Included and there is no $$$ gian.

Skinz are # _v4 (Firaxis=_default,_v1,_v2--Livery=_v3)

If you do not have the livery pack rename to _v3
If you have others rename accordingly _v#

Extract hole folder to

Documents and Settings\YourName\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\CustomAssets\Trains

Two versions (with and without warning stripes)

Skins are # _v3 & _v4

You must Have Eilewens Gp7 for these skins.

(eilewens= _Default,_v1,_v2)

If you have other gp7 skins rename accordingly

2 questions - Are the icons reversed on one side? And can the size of icons be changed?

I sees were your going with this. Since the logos are differnt sizes,I suppose, You could map a logo in niffscope then have it point to whut ever.
Iam gonna Have to read that part over in E's tut. I wished I had thought of that earlier.Maybe I can finish the skin that is one scheme stetched over
two locos.



I apoligize for the lame screenshots they do not properly represent
all the work that goes into this.

Hey, the screenshots are fine! I'm sure anyone interested in your skins would rather you spent time on them than work tweaking up your screenshots! :wink:

(firaxis= default, _v1, _v2 )

If you do not want all 5 versions
You must rename version #'s accordingly


If you have other gp 38 skins
You must rename accordingly

Yea Haven't Put much into it yet ( Ibeleave it will )

To have your trian show up in the round house . You Have to rename the 4(skins) maps to default ( diff,emsk,spec,nmrl ).. NO _v#'s

Yes this means if you dont rename the original default to have a _v#.
You will no longer have access to that skin ..

Until you rename your new default to another v#

You will need Eilewens Gp7 mod for these skins
( Eilewen Gp7 = _default, _v1, _v2 )

Skinmaps are # _v5,_v6,_v7

If you do not have my _v3,_v4

You will need to replace... _v#'s ...
with your own version numbers _v3,_v4,_v5 ect....

Each skin needs 4 maps
Remember you must rename all 4 skinmaps with the same _v#
( diff_v# - nrml_v# - emsk_v# - spec_v# )

To instal copy folder to::
Documents and Settings\YourName\My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\CustomAssets\Trains\EMD_GP7

GP 7 Arcan

These skinmaps DO nott have version #s
You will have to rename
If you've followed my example you can look in your
Sid Meier's Railroads!\CustomAssets\Trains\EMD_GP7 Folder
And see what version is next and rename accordingly (Mines wood b_v8)

If you do not have any skins V# will be _v3
You can see by this example and elsewere in this thread The best way to organize and trac your skins(including the readme)
