I was reading through DrFrag's description of how to make maps from DEM maps, his site had been hacked and he wasn't going to replace the files.

Are there any other sites that I can go to to get the files? I haven't been able to find any.

Try Bobby's site http://eric.bkbobby.com/ I think that they have an updated Wiki and also a map section.

If you have Railroad Tycoon 3. They have a Mapbuilder on the CD. It creates grayscale maps from anywhere on the globe. That's what I use.
