Smr Simple!

I am working on a scenario where the starting date was to be year 2007. Everything worked fine in Tabletop setting, but when I stared in the regular game mode there were no trains available and the game crashed.
After much experimentation I found out that you have to set the starting Era at 2005 or earlier.
My question is if there is a way to overcome this?

Funny you should mention this as I was considering posting about a date issue I had.

I tested this on my Amerigonia map and while I didn't crash the game date reads January 1830 for a first era start date above 2005.

The issue that I had was the era would not complete at the end of December when I set
<iEraEndMonth>12</iEraEndMonth>
<iEraEndYear>1879</iEraEndYear>
I had it end once in October and once in August until I set the iEraEndYear 1880. I haven't done any more testing yet but they seem to have a problem with their date calculations.
