i want to add more cars to the trains

i want to add maybe 12 cars instead of 8 cars to my consist. How would I do that , if possible.

I guess you're asking if theres a magic XML code like Cars=8 or Cars=12. In that case no there is not. I also doubt that theres even a way to do it unless we had the source to the exe.

I think they set it as 8 cars as the 100 x 100 maps would have been crowded with more. The AIs use very few cars.

the question is, why do you want this?
Because you would love it, to see a long train passing with alot of cars, that would be great, just like a snake-game
or do you want to be able to haul more goods, for the last you can kind-of-immitate that by redifing alot of paramters.
on graphics level, it's possible to have longer cars, if you've got maybe a nif of car that looks like 2 wagons...
