dwax - first thing, I need your GLOBAL RRT_Trains, RRT_TrainCars and RRT_Names (for whatever language you use) XMLs. You have some engines set up that I don't. No real problem, all I ask is patience and a 2 pint blood donation to the nearest hospital  If need be, I'll make you a new Hawaii XML for your trains.

Well, I'll do you a full engine XML for your use, and anyone elses, in maps. It'll take a few days at this end as we have some hospital things and loan stuff coming up.

No problem, gotta have something to do when I get bored. As to dwaxs' XML, he has combos in there that he created which makes it impossible to check out without all the files. To him and anyone wanting to work on engines this way, get the existing material working, then work on a single change until you figure you have it working correctly, then add to it. Another good thing to do is something I learned again here, make notes of what you are doing. It take more time to do it, but it saves time in that you don't do the same thing that failed more than once. And remember where you put your notes... I have a 3-ring binder with all this stuff in it.
K-class - if you have a bit of time, I could use a list of single diesel engines, including those that are used in duals. I haven't gone thru all of those yet, I have about 4 other pans on the stove right now.

The Basin And Range duals have me stumped. They can run perfect on some maps and others they just crash. I see Warll has them in his The Island zip and must not be having problems, even tho he has not listed them in the TenderCars or Names XML. And I have tried to list them in the TrainCars_MAP_XML and still had problems.

One problem I saw on your list was that you have some that show as red blobs in th roundhouse. I'm guessing that these are ones you tried to set up as I have no record of them. It's better to get what there is working first, then set those aside and start with a blank or single engine roundhouse, then try creating new ones 1 at a time.

snoopy55 just to check about you want in this file (I could use a list of single diesel engines)

You just want the diesel name (tag name) or this info as well
szManufacturerName
szModel>
szDummyModel
szTenderCar

or the whole <Train> to </Train>

Darn, let me get some Ibuprofen, you're making me think.... I guess it's really what you and others would be looking for. You would want the name as it appears in RRT_Trains, so as a sample you'd want BR_GP38_DUAL2 and you'd want to know what it consists of, GP-38 YB + GP-38 BB. How far do you want to go from there? Parts that CAN be changed are not needed. Parts that CANNOT be changed could be needed such as Model, DummyModel and TenderCar. (yes, they can be changed, but then they are not what they are)
For that BR_GP38_DUAL2 you could list the title as found in Names and then give the description in Names and expand the description, adding the TenderCar Name:
TAG_NAME_BR_GP38_DUAL2
GP-38 YB + GP-38 BB
GP-38 Yellowbonnet + GP-38 Billboard (GP38DummyBillboard)
This gives an idea of what it is.

Then a list of the Tender Cars by name.

If you want to go further, attached is the list for Depots_Annexes which shows the color setup needed for Wiki. Green being the original and red being the created. If you don't find time for that, just a -g or -r after them. The Tender Cars from Mange's Tender Mod would be considered original.

There's no rush on this, it's all for peoples better understanding of what is available.

dwax - in your RRT_Trains_Hawaii XML you have a 'TAG_NAME_AC4400_CHAN_A-A' plus 2 other variations for engines which I don't have in my RRT_Trains GLOBAL. Where did that come from?

The 'TAG_NAME_AC4400_CHAN_A-A came from the Trains_Mod section, can't remember who made them tho. I never had any problem with them. I have my other PC hooked up now, and am trying to salvage what I can from the bad drive from the other one. :(
