Very userfriendly icon! The "politics" lettering is even discernable, although I think it is not needed, the image itself is strong enough. Next to the standard game icons, the colours appear a bit weak, maybe you could experiment with slightly stronger colour (but that might spoil it, try and see). The image needs to be 32 pixel square .tga, so if you do that directly, it may gain slightly in sharpness.

On the left is a port icon - for an RRT3 style port. It converts Coal to Goods and Wool to Textiles. All that is very likely too much for one icon, but you could try a version (with more abstract imagery, or with the SMR images) with the two input goods or one with the two output goods.

Also, I need an Australian Airforce Base.
