No, and I don't know. I do know that I deleted the line that mentions RRT_Events.xml from my new scenario xml file, and CTDs are down 99%. The log file just listed a different random even number every time. No consistancy. Also since installing SMRI I've had to add some production modifiers to the new custom map cities XML file to get them to produce mail and passengers and want food, goods, and autos as they grow. It was weird going through a whole game with no new mail or passengers, nor changes to the demands as a city grows. Guess the default is to not do anything there. No worries, off I go again...Lowell wrote:Were they new events you are trying to add? ...
EDIT// Oh...you mean somehow the SMRI update has an event that is msipelled or something...the thing to do is open up the Assets/Events.xml file in the game proper file in ProgramFiles/2KGames...etc. Compair every Event with the default list in there, then you will find your error. Most likely it is a typo.

Well no if you leave it default the game uses all of the ones it has in it's list. If you make a list it stops events that your map will not need or use, like not having oil on your map and getting the oil popup during play. So the events list is to list those things you "want to only" popup during play...leaving it default lets all of them kick-in.
New ones can be built inside the scenario's list I was mistaken on that, just make sure that if the event is already global you only list the events name, then make a full listing for it if new.
Like in the Ohio Holidays events file, it only pulls those I need.
