Transcontinental U.S. Scenario is finished!

Post by stormfather » Mon Feb 12, 2007 3:34 am

I just finished my Transcontinental U.S. scenario, it seems to be CTD free. The only thing that I have yet to implement are city-specific songs and victory conditions. Throw out a few ideas, folks, what do you consider to be important milestones of American Rail?

Anyway, the map covers the entire US, from sea to shining sea. Canada and Mexico are there, but I didn't give them any cities and due to their desolace and proximity to the edges of the map, they won't likely get any random resources, either. Generally, the east and west coast have a lot of population but not too many resources, while the area between the Sierra Nevadas and the Appalachians will get most of the resources. The starting year is tentatively set at 1843 (the year that the American comes out, in game.)

Well, you have the west and east joined by rail (don't know what year, so that may be a dud) Gold in Alaska. Oil in Alaska, WW1, WW2, Koreon, the day I was born, Space race (people and stuff to Texas), 1955 when big start in Freeway building.

Did I mention my birthday
I'm correct 97% of the time..... who cares about the other 4%....

I'm going to post it tonight. I just need to finish tweaking some victory conditions and the city song list.

Sorry about the delay, midterms week is about to start and I've been busy. I just added victory conditions and the soundtrack and uploaded the scenario on the maps forum. Enjoy!

Not when I'm around my grandchildren, Then I'm only as old as they are. Besides, age gives you something you can't get any other way, experiance

Being old around here is the norm. Well at least it seams to be for the regulars.
