Rocky Mountain High
Rocky Mountain High
I have started work on a new map - Rocky Mountain High. I have pulled the Durango and Silverton 2-8-2 out of mothballs to use as the first engine. I'm just getting this map started, so a long way to go, but work has started.
Re: Rocky Mountain High
The second engine for this map will be the Union Pacific 4-8-2 number 7002.
Re: Rocky Mountain High
The next engine for this map will be the Denver & Rio Grande Western F3A number 5541.
Re: Rocky Mountain High
Hi Folks, I have another engine ready for service - the Missouri Pacific GP7 209.
Re: Rocky Mountain High
This one took me a while - the Great Western Railway GP20 number 5635,
Re: Rocky Mountain High
Another engine has been finished for this map - the KYLE GP40 number 3104.

That is very cool!

The last engine is coming out of mothballs as it fits this maps parameters nicely. It is the Union Pacific AC44CW number 7238.
Re: Rocky Mountain High
I finally got everything moved from my practice map to the actual map and re-tested. It took me a while. Hey, it's golf season. Now I have to start testing for playing purposes, come up with all the goals and I know I have a ton of map work to do. Still, progress is being made.
Re: Rocky Mountain High
Hi Folks, This map's testing is off to a slower start than usual. I ran into an issue with an industry I created. Seems that there was a memory leak. Plus, it's golf season and SMR takes a backseat to that. Still, I am moving along. It's just a slow process. I will try and make the result worth the wait. Hope everyone is having a good summer.

Winter is coming along quite nicely, here. Plenty of drizzle rain that I love so much.
Certainly no expectations or demands on your time from me.
Actually, it gives me an idea. A golf themed map. Cities are the holes, tees are where the industries are and all sitting on a golf course looking layout. Golf buggy looking trains pulling loads of balls, bags, etc. Hilarious.

Hi Folks, I have finished my testing and have completed the map work that was needed. Now I just have to get the event files done. Then I will be able to get this finished map posted. Happy railroading. Slider
