This is a rather interesting map. Only 4 cities, large distances, limited resources, and an interesting terrain.
Here are some pointers:
2. Installation instruction: There are always people who do not know how and where to install the map. So here it is, in this case:
Unzip the RAR file in Temporary directory and replece the C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\UserMaps file with the “UserMaps” file that came in the unzipped RAR file.
3. Clean out the RRT_Goods, and RRT_TrainCar files from the Goods and TrainCars you don’t use. This really does not matter much as far as the gameplay, it is only good housekeeping.
4 In the
C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads! \UserMaps\Paysagiste-Kaiser - La Mondialis\RRT_Scenario_User_Paysagiste-Kaiser - La Mondialis.xml
file this line <EventsXMLFile>RRT_Events.xml</EventsXMLFile> means that the game will use the Firaxis’ default Events file. There are Events called for that require goods and products that you don’t have. Since the events are called for occures randomly, it might happen that it will call for “Increase in Grain” production. Since the game does not produce Grain (There are no Grain Farms), the game will crash.
To remedy this you should have a \RRT_Events_Paysagiste-Kaiser - La Mondialis.xml file in the C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\UserMaps\Paysagiste-Kaiser - La Mondialis\UserMaps folder, also a line in the RRT_Scenario_User_Paysagiste-Kaiser - La Mondialis.xml folder
<EventsXMLFile>RRT_Goods_Paysagiste-Kaiser - La Mondialis.xml </EventsXMLFile>
(you really ought to give simpler name to your maps).

5 There are too many trains. They pop up every couple minutes and some of the newer train are less powerful than the older ones. You might want to look over the “Roundhouse” in a Traintable” mode, look at the red, green, blue performance graphs and eliminate some of the less desirable ones.
6 The scenario goals: The game starts in 1850 and ends in 2229, that’s an awful long time, especially if the scenario does not have any goals set.
To make the game more interesting you ought to set some performance goals.
The best way to learn it to check some of the later maps. The scenario goals are are in the RRT_Scenario_User_MAPNAME.XML file, part of the “ERAS” sections.
