Smr Simple!

Anyway, I can't - and won't - be able to fix this. Here's the ruin of my map if anyone thinks that it's somehow salvageable. I put about 6 hours into creating it, but it looks like that was all for nothing.

There is a spelling error in the Scenario file “Vanbouver”

In the RRT_Cities_Vancouver Island.xml file you have to change the city references to your map. That is change the line from this
<City>
<szName>TAG_US_NORTHWEST_NAME_VANCOUVER</szName>
</City>
……..to this.
<City>
<szName>TAG_CITY_NAME_VANCOUVER</szName>
</City>

Your Names file is empty. You should have reference to each city:

<Names>
<RRTCities>
<TextKey>
<Tag> TAG_CITY_NAME_VANCOUVER </Tag>
<Text>Vancouver</Text>
<Gender>M</Gender>
</TextKey>
</RRTCities>
</Names>

There are too many things to correct in the map you uploaded. You still had the old US NE map. The map would not load in the editor, etc.
Now I see what you want, here is a Vancouver map that you can work with. You have to adjust the terrain, add cities and if you want to make a scenario, you have to figure what you want in the scenario goals.
This map will load in the terrain editor and will play as is.

PS. This is not a SAM map, just a plain old modified stock map.

You know the map he uploaded already has the Terrain he wants, can he just replace the dds and tga with the one he already made?
