Germay Alternate Universe Map

Post by Jancsika » Thu Feb 11, 2010 7:45 pm

Here is 10 X 10 stock map. It uses all the original Firaxis files except a new RRT_Cities Alternate Germany.XML, RRT_Names_Alternate Germany.XML and RRT_Scenario_User_Alternate Germany.XML.
The city names have not been changed from the original Firaxis Germany map, but because the cities were moved around the new files were necessary. I have redone the Scenario, because the original scenario was ridiculously easy.
I have added a “track_DIFF.dds file, this will change the looks of the tracks.
There are no FPK or ASSETS folders to worry about.
The compressed file have to be uncompressed into C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\UserMaps folder. It won’t interfere with the basic game maps, but if you have some custom map installed, it would be better to create a clean C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\UserMaps folder.

PS.The new tracks are Burlington_Northern_3140’s creation, and there are a half a dozen of them, and they are available at http://www.hookedgamers.com/forums/view ... ack#p29889
