Hi, I am having a bit of an issue. The installer seems to work good. When I go to play the map it crashes when loading. Any help would be awesome.
Thanks,
Greg

If you had a clean UserMaps folder (no ither maps!!) it should start.
Sometimes it takes 3 - 4 tries to start. I think it is due to the large size of the map.
My starts the 2nd or 3rd try

I have the same problem with this map however it also happens with others as well. Just reload from the last autosave. You might even have to reload a couple of times but the crashes get less the further you get into this map. I gave up trying to figure out why the CTD's happen, accept them for being a pain and reload.

Just reload from the last autosave.
I normally go back 2 or 3 autosaves and try to play a different game.
It helps. (Most of the time)
There are so many different things that  go wrong. Most people, including me could play this map all the way through, without CTD. Some other people are crashing all the time.

Hi,

Is it possible that the game is clogging up the memory? I am going to increase my page file and see what happens with that.
Thanks,
Greg

OK Ward!
You owe an apology!

As for the memory. Try Gamebooster.
This will temporary shut down all the unnecessary programs.
Freeing up a little more memory.

Gamebooster does not work for me the map still crashes after playing for 20 minutes. I think it is because of the amount of new content in the map and my computer which had 8 gigs of memory and i have ran the 3 gig enabler, and windows 7 still cant handle it all.

This game is so touchy anything can happen at any time.
I can Play rodea2007's other maps without a problem except this one is a lot bigger.

I turned up my page file to 4 gig min and 4 gig max. I turned off a few things. Playing with no crashes so far. Keep your fingers crossed... :o
Thanks,
Greg

s
what is the best city/town to start at.
You really don't have much choice.
Have at least two AI opponent and buy them out before the end of the first Era.
That will give you some of the scenario goals that are hard to achive otherwise.
For Era Two, the passenger traffic is tricky. There is a passenger flow that goes counterclockwise.
The rest is a piece of cake
