Just want to see if you were awake
I've got a few things about the game racing thru my mind...... woops, 3 file pile up on the hairpin curve....
I'm correct 97% of the time..... who cares about the other 4%....

I just tried something new with this map and wouldn't you know it, I chose the one with the most problems.....
Atani - the Installer doesn't have the Chickpea Depot or the Falafel Food Plant.
I need to look into something else on this map.
I'm correct 97% of the time..... who cares about the other 4%....

Damm Snoop
I think that fix is gonna work, It dont crash when you mouse over it with a depot now, BUT, 2 Billion dollars for an annex is a bit much eh ? lmao

Now I am inocent!!! There was no Chickpea Annex in the installer, so you must have one in your RRT_Depots.xml GLOBAL with that price tag.
But hey, look at it this way, they can get BIG BUCKS for their oil that we turn into gas, why not BIG BUCKS fortheir chickpeas that we turn into gas......
( I just paid $2.86 / Gal for unleaded plus... the unleaded was $2.91! Summer prices you know......)

Mike - minor problem.......the Chickpea Farms are demanding Chickpeas and producing Food. Sounds good, but we don't deliver seed....the farmer is on his own there.......
and please don't make the same mistake i did, input food, output chickpeas

Chikpea farms require food ?( I may not have noticed it called something else ). It is possible to play this map without using the chickpea farms. But, it seems like very soon after you get your 1st metropolis it crashes. Ive tried it several times with the same result.

reference to chickpeas
Snoop55 re your post above re download Chickpeas.txt
refers to Assets/Interface/Goods/icon_grain_32.tga these don't exist
So looks to me if there is another installer / map that we need to install??

Assets/Interface/Goods/icon_grain_32.tga
those shhould exist inside an FPK file, there are alot of train cars and graphics that you can't see unless you open the default fpk files.
I know it exists because I am the creator of this map
I finally got my RR working somewhat on vista but not well enough to finish a whole game.

They may exist but the global file is not pointing to the right place thoe.

Which FPK have you got that in. I ask as I dont see a FPK for this map.

K-class - somewhere on this humungis forum it was found that the Assets/Interface/Goods/ is really ignored. If you go into the original files, \Sid Meier's Railroads!\Assets, you will not find a folder called 'Interface'. There are two files called Interface0.FPK and Interface1.FPK, but that's it. It has never (to my knowledge) been discovered what is going on at this point, except thet the game does find what info it needs and uses it. Some mappers leave off that part and it still works.

I've got the bugs removed from this map. The mill and the Metal Works Factory were set to be put in the Forest, of which there are none. The Metropolis wanted 'Subway Rails', so it crashed. Now, it can run as I have it, but it needs something more, and I need you peoples help.
We have the following Goods:
Passengers
Mail
Food
Manufactured Goods
Livestock
Fish
Coal
Oil
Steel
Chickpea
Iron Ore
This leaves:
Passengers
Mail
Food
Manufactured Goods
As what can be delivered.As it's set up now:
Villages:
Passengers
Mail
Town:
Passengers
Mail
Food
City:
Passengers
Mail
Food
Manufactured Goods
And Metropolises:
Passengers
Mail
Food
Manufactured Goods
Now, there were 2 other items, one, Subway Rails, which caused CTD, and two, Automobiles, which left a HD address as part of 'Demands' for it. (Now you know what that is if you come across it)
What I need is some suggestions as to what to add to the map as Finished Products. Any ideas? The map is working now, I just have to get the Data to Atini so he can figure out how we're going to do this.
