Jancsika;
Great work, just downloaded both NAFTA I & II, looking forward to using them both. Quick (and noobie question though). I noticed in the screen shots that there were modified or different consist cars, are those part of the map itself, or will I need to download those somewhere else?

Thanks for your hard work on these.

That was repaired Bitmat Car Icon for Scrap Metal, you can repair it manually but If you can't do that you can download NAFTA PHASE II with Installer, because in there everything errors was fixed

They are in the map already. Since they are new i show them so you can identify them.
In the same shot there is the list of industries, to help with the production line. :D

:D Played Tycoon Level with 2 AI, wanted 3, game would not allow, & with M Routing
My Sys, Intel , CPU6600,4GB RAM,Window 7 Home P. 64 bit, Page File 17GB, NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT 1GB RAM. Installation was easy. System Compatibility modes and settings from Windows 2000 to Vista Serv Pk 2 all worked. Problem was trying to play game with all options off and using basic Graphic Set. Starting Game Menu took 21 Sec; then Loading Sav Games took 19-23 seconds more. Game was fun with reasonable goals to be met. Finished 1st Era 1905,2nd in 1927, 3rd in 1943.

Is it possible to have 'one way' rails?

Like with real life rail: a pair of rails: one rail takes trains north, the other south.

I try to do this map with hard routing. But it's impossible to do that with a clean network if you want to use everything.

Also, you need multiple trains doing the same thing in a lot of places. That requires double track, but it goes always wrong when using a 3rd train

Sorry: NO

:)
It is absolutely maddening!! The trains will always choose the wrong track, they will go head on, when there is an empty track next. Nothing we can do about it. It is built in the program.
The trick is to be very careful how to lay a track, how to place the switches.
The only way to do it would be to have dedicated tracks, one train per one track. Of course that is rather impractical on larger maps.
Also you should be careful, that there is only one possible route between two station. If not, the train will run into a traffic congestion and will reverse the route, again and again.
Careful route planning is imperative. :!:

This happens with larger maps, other than pure SAM maps.
Here are the options one can try. They don’t always work, so you better backup what you are doing.
The FPK/ Assets files can be placed in:
C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\MAPNAME\CustomAssets folder
C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\UserMaps\MAPNAME\ file
C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\UserMaps\ folder

The XML FOLDER can be placed

C:\Users\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Railroads!\MAPNAME\CustomAssets\XML\_Scenarios_ folder.

.....and of course in the UserMaps folder.
