I am not from the middle east, Florida or Alaska. I do my best with the photo images I see of a region. As for a lot of towns I am not a fan of this. I like to work to get goods from A ---> B ---> C. I hate seeing towns so close you can late 2 cm of track and touch it.

I installed the map fine and it plays without fault. When a city upgrades to a metropolis and it has a new good, that good doesnt apear on my game and crashes everytime i move the mouse anywhere near the place? ive installed the other patches for iron ore etc. What is wrong?

This map is having alot of problems, only a few have got it to work properly.

I spent about 17 days getting the map to where it is and trying to fix some bugs, but I am not sure what is wrong with it. I even tried on my own system to run it with Germany items as well and it still crashes for me. I have been over and over the xmls and don't see what is wrong with it.

Daryl, I did some rewritting in the files, removing goods and products that were not needed. I also rewrote the newspaper notices so they refer to the Mid East. I'm going to try to remove all references to the Iron and see if it will run. I'll let you know what happens.

I tried that on my end Snoop and it still did not help. I made it exactly like a the british map hoping that would do it but to no avail.

I am also in the process of updating the Maritimes map but it is also unstable for me now and it used to work flawless for me before.

I've seen you speak of your maps working fine for you and then not working right. I kinda think you might want to start keeping track of all you do to your system in relation to Railroads. Like on paper. When you run a map that runs OK and when one messes up and how.

I'm going to look into a couple of things, maybe I can find some data.

For a while they did run fine Snoop. But lately only 2 maps out of the user created ones work. I am thinking of redoing my Railroads.

Add a second one like I did. Just copy your existing one to another drive under a different name, delete your main one and reload it. Rename the new one as 'Test Track' or 'Test Lab' or something and set the name of the moved one back. Adjust your shortcut and make a new one for your tester. You'll nee a second file under 'My Games', but set up a second there and with an add on to the file change them when you want to work or play.

I hope that someone is still looking at this map. I really like this map although it crashes on me everytime. I have tried every uninstall/reinstall and mods/nomods to try and get this map to work.

As part of the installer work (http://www.hookedforums.com/a/viewtopic.php?t=1383) attached is an installer which installs this map and its custom assets.

Repair is here. Same as before, replace the Scenario XML and add the Depots XML.
