Hey snoopy55, have you incorporated the Repairs into the installer yet? The last Edit on your installer post is April 30 so it doesn't look like it.

No I haven't, I was waiting for some verifacation that it was working with the manual repairs.
Right now I'm beating my system with a bat. My C: drive has been dropping in and out, so I went to work on reloading XP to a new drive. I copied the drives attached to the C: drive to an 80Gb (which was being used for editing SMR) and now while the computer sees it, XP doesn't. somehow the MBR has been lost and I'm trying to find a way to recover it. Now the new C: drive is lost so I'm back on the old C: drive, and am I ever losing my hair :shock:

Have you tried the Recovery Console? Fixmbr & Fixboot?

What the heck, I'll take a stab at installing and the repair to see if it works for me.

Okay, I get a CTD half way into Building Up Steam. I'm looking around and I can't find the port_annex.kfm file. Does the installer install that?

port_annex.kfm is installed by 'Basin And Range Demo' and 'Basin And Range'. The file is called 'BasinAndRangeDemoMods.FPK'.
