Dr. Frag:

Nice map. I enjoyed the challenge and the different nuances in gameplay. I prefer things spread out a little as you have done, rather than having cities grow together. New twists such as the shipping center always breathe new life into the game.

I also ran into the problem of not being able to set a goal to ship to annexes in a map I am working on (saddles to cattle ranches). Would have been a nice new twist.

Keep up the good work and I hope there are more maps to come.

The Dual Mikado cost 1,800,000. Too many zeros. I know how to correct.
Othervise it is a very stable game.

Naw, he's got the price correct, that engine has platinum and gold parts included along with a lifetime warrenty against breakdowns. The good Doc replaces them if they ever breakdown

Dr Frag

Couple more things:
On the train screen (F4) the names of the dual locomotives don’t show. From the picture one can’t tell if it a single or dual.
Also on the turntable screen the dual locomotives don’t have names, only the manufacturer’s name.
By the way, I am in process of stealing some of your ideas. I hope you don’t mind.

I have yet to play this game without a CTD midway in. Perhaps I unzipped it wrong by getting confused with the install notes. Could an installer be made to solve this.

Maybe I'm missing a map somewhere (being I had to reinstall the game a week or so back due to my arrogance and stupidity).

Any help would be appreciated as I can run all the other maps.

Atani has been rather busy lately but I have put in the request for an installer. If you want to post your Global files (RRT_Trains.xml, RRT_TrainCars.xml, & Names_<lang>.xml) I will see if I can find anything that might be causing you heartache.

I think I have the right ones you want. I had to convert to RTF format in order to upload, doesn't accept the XML extension

Sorry Zorander but 'converting' them to RTF totally jacked them up. Best would be to ZIP the three files together and post the ZIP file.

Attached are my three files. They are fairly generic so they should work okay for you if you don't have much custom content installed. Backup your three files first and then extract mine to your CustomAssets\XML folder. Or you could use them to compare against yours.

Zorander,
For uploading files use 7-Zip. It's free and is great for compacting files. You just highlite 1 or more files and/or folders and right-click and you'll find 7-Zip. Click on 'Add to Archive.....' , choose ZIP as your Archive Format and go to it. The forum accepts them. Here's the Web Site:

Okay, put these back into your Globals folder and you should be good to go.
