Bridge Types and why do bridges change shortly after buildin

Bridge Types and why do bridges change shortly after buildin

Hello, is there a way to change a settings file to only allow a certain type of bridge? Like all wood bridges or all steel? I've searched all over for the proper file but cant find it.
Also, why do bridges change to partial brick after I created them completely steel?

Could you post your bridges xml file? Then we could have a look. :P
