Anyone have any idea why you can't see anyone's games when they host online?

How do you know they have hosted one?

because after waiting for like 10 minutes for someone to join I exit the game and there is like 25 people outside. Recently we found out you can get it to show a game if you change the map after hosting the game

When you first tried were you running a user map?

Game Spy is as buggy as this game. I've had that happen to me when I first started playing online. It went away after a few days. I don't think I was hosting a user map. I count my blessings when I can play thru a game on an official map. :)

I have only tried a user map once and I couldn't get it to work, so no. A few hours after I made this thread it was working again though. Never seen anything like that before, I though it might have stopped anyone from playing for awhile or something.

I usually never have a problem with crashing anymore kroguys. Seems to be a lot better since I installed the new forceware. I am also running vista

Umm... do you have all the patches installed? And what about a firewall? Any active? Might help to switch it off (but yes, that does mean you're a little unprotected).

I'm pretty sure this problem has a lot to do with Game Spy. Even if someone has a different version game, we can still see the game. Just unable to join. As for the firewall, my game is on the firewall's exception list. If that does what I think it does, then the firewall shouldn't be an issue either.
