Smr Simple!

Seems like these threads are old, but I'm having some issues loading the custom maps from this site. A few work, but most seem to get stuck on "Tinkering With Supply and Demand". I'm running OSX Monterey and bought the Steam version of the game.

I tried to follow the Mac Users thread on the forum, but it gets a little convoluted. I tried different video settings, removing the FPK, changing the date. Some maps just don't work, others will.

Would really like to play some of these fantastic looking maps, so any help is appreciated.

The most likely issue is xml file dates. SMR loads files based on the newest one available according to file system edit dates. The Mac OS build has newer files, and thus you must open and resave all XMLs.

Your post says you did that, but this is the only known issue with the Mac build.
