I have Windows 7 32-bit, and SMR keeps crashing to desktop. I have run the BCDEDIT command in cmd.exe, and have patched my RailRoads.exe with your 3GB program, yet it still doesnt seem to work. It still crashed to desktop everytime I play! I have followed the instructions found on both these pages, but to no avail.

Can you please help with this? Thanks

PS. The map it crashes on constantly is Northeast US, but also on others, although less so. I have not played every map yet, only a handful, so I cant comment on the rest.

The first thing to do is to empty your SMR! UserMaps and CustomAssets folders, stored under Documents/MyGames in Windows Vista, for example. Empty means there should be NOTHING in those two folders. Then try to run the original SMR scenarios which came with the game.

If they run without crashing, it means you are trying to run outdated, faulty usermods. Unless you know how to fix these old scenarios, it may be less frustrating to download the latest versions from our Map Database, which by and large should have been fixed by now. :D
