New member, unable to get game to run

Hi I'm very new to this, can't seem to get the game to run, It has installed ok, but when we try to start the game it comes up with the following...

"your machine does not meet the minimum system requirements to run. The game cannot continue"

I have never had this before on other games.

Please help.

This game needs high specification of Computer to can be fine run
Memory min 1 Gb
This in very important you must have Video card with support pixel and vertex shader min versi 1.0 ex You have 2 gb Memory, P4 or AMD lates processor But if you don't have Video Card with support pixel and vertex shader that's your sistem can't be run this game

I have computer with spec PIII 933 Hz, VGA Card Geforce FX5200 128 MB
Memory SDRAM 512 Mb, until now still run fine with this game (except big size maps)

Thanks for the replies. My DH took pity on me and had a look, apparantly we don't have enough ram. I'm in the process of convincing him we need to update. LOL. In the meantime I have it running on my laptop, it's a bit slow but at least I can work out how to play the game. So I am liking it, just working in sandbox mode, getting the hang of it. Going to move to playing a senario soon.
