I believe I may have mentioned this in one of my earlier posts (or maybe that was on HawkDawg's site before it got hacked), but my main system will not host MP games. I set them up, but my other computer can't see them.
Both computers are using onboard lan. Router is a DLINK di-604 Rev.E with the latest firmware.
Main System:
-Windows 2000
-Socket 939 AMD Athlon64 3700+ @ 2.2ghz
-Asus A8N-E Motherboard
-Nforce 4 Ultra chipset
-1024mb PC3200 DDR Ram @ 400mhz
-2x80gb WD IDE hard-discs
-Onboard Audio
-Onboard LAN "Nvidia NFORCE Networking Controller"
-LG DVD Burner
Other system:
-Windows 2000
-Socket A AMD Sempron 2600+ @ 1.8ghz
-MSI KT6V Motherboard
-VIA Chipset (can't remember which one)
-512mb PC-2700 DDR @ 333mhz
-1x18gb WD IDE hd, 1x160gb WD SATA hd, 1x250gb WD SATA hd
-Soundblaster Live! Value soundcard
-Onboard LAN "VIA Rhine II Fast Networking Adapter"
-Lite-On DVD Burner
I do wonder (and will test in the near future) if switching either or both machines over to WinBloat XP (BLECH!) would end up solving this problem. Can anyone tell me if this game works on XP-64, or if I should just use the 32-bit XP.
Can't host MP games, any help?
