You can add the Yellowbonnet GP38 to maps with the original gp38s if you add the Yellowbonnet GP38 as a new engine in the Trains xml. Then you would be able to select either the Yellowbonnet or the original GP38 in the roundhouse.HisAlterEgo wrote:I was hoping to add the yellowbonnet gp38 to maps with the other gp38's and have all variations to use. Are you saying that this would override the others and the only one to show up in any map would be the yellowbonnet?
To do this, you would add a new train for the Yellowbonnet to your RRT_Trains.xml and assign it the santafeblue_gp38_2.kfm model file.
Then add a reference to this engine in the map's RRT_Trains_map.xml file.
Finally, add a text entry for this new engine in the map's RRT_Names_map.xml file.
Unfortunately there is no automated way to add new engines to maps...yet. I am going to have to come up with an installer to do this because I am about to release almost 30 new engine skins in the Basin & Range v1.0 map that people are going to want to add to their maps.

Another note: You can't make the Yellowbonnet a new skin of the original GP38 because of the new Santa Fe and BNSF decals on the Yellowbonnet, unless you don't care about these and just want the colors.
