Serious error closes SMR.

I have two original copies of the game, running on a W. VISTA Ultimate 64 and another W. SEVEN 64, and two after the update with the patch 1.10 it has an error asking to insert original CD and then playing without this patch but are constant errors in the game that make it close.
Is there any solution to this problem?
