Loose threads

We have some threads in the “Construction Sets” sub forum, where the ZIP files were deleted by the poster, but the corresponding jpg pictures are still there. These are Building Blocks that could be useful to future mapmakers.
We would like to hear the members opinion as, what to do about them.

Here are the options:
1.Delete the complete thread. These supposed to be BuildingBlocks for mapmakers.
2.We could post a link to the other forum, and send our members over there.
3.Don't do anything.

I prefer No. 1, in order to clean the rest of the post that means nothing, then create a new one I will help to fill it again.
If not I will make myself Building Block will I fill with existing mods on my maps

I would also tend to prefer No. 1. Many of those BB were copied from other posts and maps on this forum without acknowledgement or credit. Much better to focus on the original posts of the original creators, who deserve credit for their good work (as in any normal forum). :D

And with Rodea helping out, and Burlington_Northern, and Lowell, to name just a few, the sky is the limit ... 8)

I agree with the previous posters. Let's delete the complete threads as appropriate.

And with Rodea helping out, and Burlington_Northern, and Lowell, to name just a few, the sky is the limit ...
The first easy step was taken.
Now I am taking you (That means everybody!!) up on your offer and will start a thread in the “Mods - Maps” section “Map Components”. It will be an open thread, so that everybody will be able to contribute.
The contributions should be specific and follow the Firaxis' categories. That is;
1.Goods
2.TrainCars
3.Industries
4.Depots,Annexes
5.Decorations.
6.Trains, Engines (should we leave them in the Mods – Trains” ?)

Each component should have the proper Assets and the necessary XML file (or files) to place them.
The thread should be strictly for contribution.
There will be an other thread for discussion, if necessary.

I will wait a few days for your comments, if any.

You need to build a new thread for each component under Construction Set thread then you need too to buil a new thread for comment or problem with the mods just one thread for all components

We ought to ask Falconeer to move the construction thread ahead of the Map thread.
Between the Trains and Maps.
The reason being, that newcomers are ignoring the last thread on the line.
They are mostly interested in Maps and if they can not find it, they will not go any further.
....and/or rename it Maps - Construction details, or something similar.
