OK, I'm confused...
OK, I'm confused...
I keep getting booted out "in a Humiliating take over bid" during a game that I am playing, but I own 100% of my stock... I thought that made you safe?
Am I missing something here?

I suggest that you look over the Strategy thread. There are plenty discussions of your question.

Well, If you own 100% of your stocks you are not safe. If somebody comes up with enough money to buy a stock, and does, you end up bought out.

Re: OK, I'm confused...
Often times I will only buy 90% of stock and keep an eye on who is buying mine. I may then either buy them out, or sell some more so they do not get all of mine, nor do they get a good return on what they have bought already. Having the cash to buy them out is more fun though.

Usually I'm always buying stock by my self up to 70%, that is the safe position because if an AI want to buy out my stocks he needs three times to do it, that mean too I can monitoring how much money he needed to buy out my stocks

I'm pretty sure it's only double Rodea. So if it costs $750,000 to buy an unowned stock, then it would cost $1,500,000 to buy the same stock from someone else (who owns it)-be it the AI or a human.

Not what he meant... 70% means 3 shares available, each one has to be bought singly. This gives you a chance to see what's happening.darthdroid wrote:I'm pretty sure it's only double Rodea. Rodea was talking about monitoring how much cash the AI needed and said "three times"... So I took that to mean "triple cost of unowned stock", but perhaps you are right and Rodea means "three stocks".keotaman wrote:Not what he meant... 70% means 3 shares available, each one has to be bought singly.
