Your own caboose

$46,000 for a caboose?! Have you ever been inside a caboose? Asking that much money for a caboose is ridiculous.
But I'm sure there would be some folks foolish enough to buy one.

There is a guy living just outside Oswego Illinois (near Chicago) that has had one sitting in his yard for about 30 years now. He has an HO gauge layout in it... 
...go figure.....
I was in one in Ottawa Illinois. It was sitting on a side track that was to be removed when my brother, who works for the railroad, let me know and took me for a visit. Kind of neat, but I wouldn't want to be on one for 8 hours or more a day..

I've seen a good caboose for $10,000. Look at http://www.ozarkmountainrailcar.com/caboosenav.htm They have cabooses in good and bad condition.
