here is the save file. I wanted to do alot more but there was a long wait time for my computer to load and let me lay the next track. I am going to try another level with no bridges!

I just tried again and it looks like the game will crash with a little more track than this.

I'm just curious, how big is your pagefile set (virtual memory)?
That's the one that helped me prevent ctd's. Granted that I only have 512Mb, it still might help.

That is weird there must be some kind of glitch with using save files with different computers because I have tried it once from the page below and mine just started to load and then crashed. Try out this save file and see if you crash.

That would be because everyone has a slightly difrent set of XMLs. Or SMR saves were never meant to be used on two computers.

That one ran fine, once I loaded the Tenders in (I'm reloading all setups to find file requirements and other data).
As to XMLs being different, the map in question is an original map, original XMLs. Should run, unless the graphics he is capable of are above mine. Someone with a minimum system could not run a save of mine if I ran the map to max as I have a good deal above min.

yea I got interested in the save file problem so I found another file in a thread and it did work though. I am not sure what xmls are though. I am going to open that level and resave it and then post it, maybe that will work :?: As for system requirments it did take along time to load each track since there was so much when I was building it but when I load the level it takes the same time as any other level.

XMLs are basicly the lists that tell the game what toys it has to play with in each map and what they can do.
I'm going to try that open, and then load the save file trick and see if it helps. I really don't think it will as the map does come up, but as soon as the game looks over what it has to do, it shuts down. The 750MB memory and 500Mb virtual memory goes up to 1050Mb memory and 100Mb virtual memory at the time it shuts down. I even shut off my secondary video and it had no change in the effect.
