Just Saying Hello

Just thought I would stop by and say hello. Decided to install the game again last week for a fourth or fifth time after putting it away. Been going through all the single player maps again :D

Sure is a shame they never did an expansion for this game or a few more patches etc. However I am ready for Railroads 2 if they wanted to make a new game again :D

Just wish I could play the original game with the graphics etc of Railroads. So fun building and riding trains lol. H**l even a micro expansion or something Firaxis could put togeather and sign off on.

There is just nothing for Railroad games anymore. I know MS is making a Train Simulator 2 but I like the Tycoon/Railroads gameplay. Would be awsome to see both game genres merged togeather. I can't even imagine building and engineering like a Tycoon game with the scale look of a MS Train Sim :mrgreen:

Welcome to the forum. There has been a lot of progress since Firaxis released and the abandoned this game. You have to look at the SAM (Stand Alone MAP) maps at this thread.
There is great variety there and they are up to date.
Be sure you read the installation instructions. It is very simple.
