did you name it "RRT_Events.xml" or "RRT_Events_(map name).xml"?

Yes - RRT_Events_Scenario.XML

did you make the change to the file name in your Scenario XML file?

Ooops - no!

Now I see....

Wel, tell me one more thing - how to set a public demand - "Mayor of XXX Solicit Railways..." etc. I didn't see such an event in any file I searched.

I noticed that on my scenarios it apppears hardly ever. One request for say, 5-6 games....

Yes - RRT_Events_Scenario.XML

If you map is named 'Wild West', the file name should be 'RRT_Events_Wild_West.xml' Of course you COULD name them anything you want, and you could use what you did as long as the name in the Scenario file is the same, BUT, if you or someone else made a map and used the same name, the maps would latch onto the last XML loaded onto your computer. This is why you HAVE TO give each maps XML files a different name from what has been used. When I rewrote the Mid East map, I had to change the name to avoid conflicts. My Mexico map will have to have different XML names from D53642s' to avoid problems. But as you found out, the game is to dumb to guess what you want it to do, you have to slap it up side the head and point things out to it

Sorry Snoopy - of course, I meant "Scenario" as "Scenario name"
