90 degree station tracks & flying trains
This may be old news, but I found a way to make station tracks intersect at 90 degrees thereby allowing traffic from 4 directions to come in and out. Screenshot collage below.
Note the upper left pic, that is a flying loco! I watched it zoom in from Heaven (or somewhere in the clouds) down onto the tracks.

Neat!!!!1
The flying Loco has been seen , usually when you make some major change to trackage or route orders
As to the crossing of the Station tracks, never thought to try that. If you can get them to where they don't intersect a station or other building, then they could be possible, and then put in a connection between them, a curve. I would almost guess it has been done in the real world more than once, so why not here
Good going

I'm correct 97% of the time..... who cares about the other 4%....
That is called track crossing in multi player and alot of people do it. I have seen some other stuff with a lot of tracks like a train just floating across the screen and not going to the stations at all!

Very easy to do really, just make a second track come in at the angle you wish and when near the station, make it straight. May take some 'temp' track to get this done. Then make a double track from the straight piece you just laid down. Not always, but most of the time you will get station tracks. Delete or clean up the 'temp' tracks and haul your cargo.oh I see now you have station tracks crossed. Can you post a save file?
