Re: New users cannot make new topics

Look guys... custom maps can be made simple enough if you take items one step at a time in construction. Download a self contained "sam or cic" style made map, look at how each xml listing table is made...then make your xml listings as you wish for your maps. What type engines and tenders are needed...

Authorship controversy - Mud Skippers

Mud Skippers I am saddened to see that others have stripped my work from me. I spent several months making and testing that mod all by myself, along with several beta testers. Holidays In Ohio Toy Trains is edited the exact same way. The Mud Skippers files I have run perfect...so what's the beef? J...

Re: SW1 anyone?

Very nice job.
Not really an SW1...but...we'll take'em. Although, the pictures don't look like they were taken in Sid's RailRoads, for some reason the landscape looks off. It might just be me.
Once again nice set.

Re: Epic History of Railroad in Utah (updated)

Thanks Snoop. My question was to Jancsika's reply...my six strokes have left my brain a little broken. It may take me a bit to get back in shape. I just didn't think of downloading it and reading through all the new scrypt, game models and such...my bad. Thanks...I call a truce and the best for you ...

Re: Epic History of Railroad in Utah (updated)

Hmm...please excuse my confusement as to the updated sam2 files. Were the tender files added as they should have been added to the mod as a stand alone mod should have been...or were the different difficulty levels added? Please pardon my late responce. Thanks for a great job guys at step where ever...

Re: Train Edit

Interesting.
That may be my trouble..."the instance skin." I too have been using Blender. I just have gotten the new version of max, so I will take a look into this myself.
This is a great learning post.
Thanks everyone. 8)

Re: Mud Skippers

Could someone please explain why my map was torn apart by others, new models added without my knowing any of this...then the title pictures changed...even then my name was placed at the end of the credits and it took me three months to make that mod by my self...all my ideas. Not a single email to i...

Re: Mud Skippers

Update: TrainTable mode tests fine. Tested on a new game load and downloaded from my link on page one of this thread...plus tested on three different machines. Please make sure your Custom Assets folder is empty...as well as making Mud Skippers "one file folder" only being inside the User Maps fold...

Re: Mud Skippers

Okay cool. I will give it a run tonight and see what or if there is an issue. I need all my maps to work with the traintable setting as many players like to play the game that way. I may also mention that member Jancsika had posted on this thread somewhere...if I am not mistaken that he had played i...

Re: Mud Skippers

I have tested it in TrainTable mode before and everything ran fine. Did you download the map from this thread and my link?

I will give it a try later just to make sure.

Re: Holidays In Ohio ToyTrains

I make a new RailRoads folder for each custom map. That way I don't have to switch stuff around all the tme. (Lazy) I have thirty three RailRoads folders in the My Games section now...I simply change the name and it only loads the one file. I also copy the ini file for my system settings etc. Merry ...

Re: Texas map

You say "However...we have all found that the default game has a random Event game crash every blue moon or so.", but all of the games maps use custom event files, so why would they crash? The default maps event lists should be fine...I was thinking of two things at once. What I should have said, w...

Re: Texas map

Maps that use the games' default game items...can be droped into the UserMaps folder and played just like a Sam or CIC map. However...we have all found that the default game has a random Event game crash every blue moon or so. The fix for the random Event crashes...is to place your own RRT_Events.xm...
