The Great Northwest

A game in progress.

I have played it a few times already but this time is where I try and make it look tidy.

Something completely different

A preset game. What that means is I used my .SMRailroadsSavedGame editor to reset the game date back to the start over and over while building up the tracks. First I gave myself $150M and used about $100M to build the tracks with as tidy a layout as possible. There's no logic to the tracks; it was j...

Railgrade here I come! My first piece of track (excluding the demo). Went straight for the sandbox mode. Will get familiar with keybinds etc before hitting the story mode. I dig the intuitiveness. I always wish games had a print keybinds option. Question. Can I swap the orbit camera direction? RAILG...

Re: The Great Northwest

Nice work on the lighthouse. Looking forward to a close up view of it and the next map.

I've been working on my completely pointless saved game editor. I can now align cities with the platform.

And a happy new year to everyone, as well.

Re: Heart of Texas

Once again many an hour has been spent tackling your excellent work. Many thanks. That cheese factory was a nice one to tackle on my first go as I started towards the bottom of the map. Here's Witchita Falls. Was about to hook it up with some corn and working out which side I'd bring it from. Thanks...

Re: Heart of Texas

Dang! That must be frustrating. I'll put my hand up if you'd like an alternative set of eyes to give it a try.

Mobile gaming

Stumbled across this. Can't get it on my mobile phone; not enough grunt.

SMR on Android and iOS.

Train Mountain

Sorry if it's been discussed before, but I couldn't find any mention of it in older posts.

Never knew this place existed. One for my bucket list.

Rocky Mountain High

I love maps with lots of valleys so this was an extra pleasure to tackle. So mesmerised, was I, there's still about a third of the map I haven't seen yet. Will head that way for my next attempt. Great work Slider. Can appreciate all the texture work that's gone into this. Here's some pics. SMRailroa...

Re: Rocky Mountain High

Winter is coming along quite nicely, here. Plenty of drizzle rain that I love so much. Certainly no expectations or demands on your time from me. Actually, it gives me an idea. A golf themed map. Cities are the holes, tees are where the industries are and all sitting on a golf course looking layout....

Re: Ohio Rails

Actually, when I think about it there's really no need to turn off the trees with today's modern and more powerful video cards. Back when SMR came out it was more of a problem. I'm just so used to it, I guess. When the game was a little further on and using my editing thingy, I moved the timber town...
