I'm using Chrome, but have also tried IE/Edge. I think it's something more profound than my browser as go...

just started the map, looks nice. some locations are indeed easier (Rocky Mount for instance) due to surrounding terrain (flat vs hills/rivers).
Will try to update with my progress.
