i recently changed computers. i did have an alienware computer with windows xp. railroads worked fine. i changed to an alienware computer with windows 7 64 bit. the game loads and works fine. however none of the maps i enter into the usermaps folder show up in the game. i have gone through the steps...

eureka! i think i have found the problem. i did a clean install of railroads and neglected to install the update. thanks to your help, everything looks good so far. i'm playing africa challenge right now. no problems so far. i will provide more feedback later. thanks to everyone for all the help!!!!!

i extracted the file to custom assets and it works now!

my save folder had all sorts of autosaves. i erased them. here's the folder.

my file is 18mb. when i tried to upload it, it said that it was too large. 15mb is the cut off point. what should i do.

i do not use no-cd. i have the cd in whenever i play.

i tried everything you mentioned in your post and still africa challenge does not show up. do i have to have smri installed because i do not?

i had smri but it kept crashing to desktop so i uninstalled it and went with a clean install.
