Re: My Old Kentucky Home Redeaux
This is a re-do. I pulled the LN F7 from the original map. I was doing some testing and getting some funny blinking from this engine. I started digging into the nif files and found all sorts of strange stuff. Well, I couldn't put up with the way the engine was acting so I re-made both the F7a and F7...

Re: My Old Kentucky Home Redeaux
The next engine for this map will be the Baltimore and Ohio 4-8-2 number 5557. With the size of this engine, a slightly larger tender was needed so I made a 6 axle tender for it to pull.

For my next engine for this map I cobbled together a Louisville & Nashville 2-8-4 number 1977. My first work with a 2-8-4.

My Old Kentucky Home Redeaux
Hi Folks, I have started work on my next map - My Old Kentucky Home Redeaux. The second map I ever attempted was the original My Old Kentucky Home map. I didn't think I would ever get it running. A very frustrating time. With help from a number of folks on this two sites, I finally got it running. I...

Re: Tennessee Trains
Sorry that progress on this map has been so slow. Two reasons - 1. It's golf season and 2. I am struggling to get a balance on this map. Through testing, I have found that the Amtrak engine really serves no purpose. My original idea for it was not going to work. It has been removed. Right now I am t...

Re: Tennessee Trains
I intended this last engine to be a GP60. However, what I created instead was a GP60M which has a completely different front end. I have spent the last couple of days fixing this issue and now have a GP60 which was what I needed. The SSW GP60 now looks like this: SSW_GP60_9631.jpg I have moved all m...

Re: Tennessee Trains
The last engine intended for use with this map is the St. Louis Southwestern (Cotton Belt) GP60 number 9631. SSW_GP60_9631.jpg I have a lot of map work to get done. Once the map is in reasonable shape, I will begin transferring stuff from my practice map to the actual map and start re-testing. Somet...

Re: Tennessee Trains
The next engine for this map will be the Southern SD40-2 number 3253. This was an interesting project. The kfm that I was working from had no bell layer, yet the engine carries a bell on the back of the hood. In order to get the bell to sound I had to mess with the nif file to get a bell layer inser...

Re: Tennessee Trains
Hi Folks, For the next engine I am using on this map, I pulled one out of the archives, the Illinois Central Gulf GP40 number 3007.
