How do I access windows restore points?

If I went back say 6 mths and checked would I need to reinstall the game?

Also would I be able to get back to yesterdays restore point easily if it didn't work?

Ok got Safe mode up and did a reinstall, same problem.

K-Class, i was assuming WinAso would have hunted down the trojans, Is there a better bit of S/Ware I should be using...

Still holding out hope, but not prepared to reinstall windows as I have so much else running fine on the system

Is there another way to get my pc to start in safe mode.
I've tried the F8 option and when the blue screen comes up with the instruction to use the arrow keys to make a selection my arrow keys do not work so I can't make the Safe mode selection!

Agreed, I've just discovered Port Royale, excellent strategy game with budget price!

K-Class: Thanks for the update, actually I've managed to get the rogue entry in Add/Remove removed, uninstalled the game, ran the demo of WinAso a number of times to remove all identified registry errors only to reinstall the game and still recive the message "Cannot find required DLL D:\autorungui....

Well I think I know what the issue is now I just don't know how to fix it and can't afford another $30 to fix one game. 1.I've uninstalled the game 2.Gone to Conttrol panel and its still showing there in Add/Remove programs 3.When I click to remove from list it starts to install ATI Catalyst Control...

XP, This is about my 5th install trying to sort this out.
Is there an easy way to get details of my system specs to show you?
The game has run ok in the past, it them just failed to run so I reinstalled and got this message.

When i install the game (legal copy!) I get a message saying
"Cannot find required DLL D:\autorungui.dll"
I've tried everything including hunting a copy of thefile and copying it into Windows 32 Folder to no avail.

When I list my trains on the main screen some of them show in yellow text, why is this, is it an alert to a problem with the train and if so what do I need to do to fix it?
