Besides, if you've used a PC for over 5 years you will *know* to never use the latest windows operating system (or any new operating system) until it has been out and used by the masses for at least 6 months. And this is not just limited to Microsoft operating systems... Amiga OS 3.0 -- buggy for th...

Well be nice to see how this map goes with altered sounds. I always wondered about that mixing it up a bit. Some Jimmy Barns or Midnight Oil playing blue sky mining over a mine. :D Yeah, I have custom tracks for two scenarios but I didn't want to post copyrighted music and have NAMBLA (or are they ...

Re: Pulp Mill......
The finished lumber car could be made from the Container car by raising the ends up and putting the center panel in (end-to-end), Or even the log car done the same way. Or both, the changed log car for early use, tho I think they used box cars, and the changed container car for the later years. For...

Australia 2 (name in progress)
I just about have my own version of Australia done to share but have a couple questions first. I have included around a half dozen music additions (all legal) so the Aussie outback has some didgeridoo music on the towns, Canberra has the Australian national anthem, etc (I don't find the standard mus...

No actually EVGA are rated as the top card for almost every higher end model they make (I spent a good chunk of time reading reviews, websites etc., after being disappointed with the BFG cards I'd bought from Futureshop. EVGA had the best reviews and almost no negative customer opinions other than t...

Yes...my BFG is the OC model. I believe it's bumped up to 600 (from 525) according to the box label. I'm running WinXP SP2. I'll have to try lowering the resolution to 1280x960 or more and see if it goes away. It's the card. The glitches are from the RAMDAC overheating. That's pretty common with BF...

The reason a fresh install doesn't fix your issue is you most likely did not delete the files in your my documents folder. If you have more than one user on your Windows XP /2K/Vista machine, then you will also have more than one my documents location. All these addons default to Documents and Setti...

This is one of the few maps that I've found to work very well, be planned out intelligently, have enough of each resource type to have a shot at accomplishing all goals on the hardest level, and doesn't crash all the time . MidEast crashes for me regardless of what I do ; it crashes, always, within ...
