I have a laptop less than a month old, 1 Gig RAM, 256 Graphic card-way above recommended specs. I've had to turn down the graphic options to min. and turn off all alerts and disable autosave and be carefull not to scroll around the map to fast for the game not to crash on a regular basis for me.
