Okay, I get a CTD half way into Building Up Steam. I'm looking around and I can't find the port_annex.kfm file. Does the installer install that?

Have you tried the Recovery Console? Fixmbr & Fixboot?

What the heck, I'll take a stab at installing and the repair to see if it works for me.

Hey snoopy55, have you incorporated the Repairs into the installer yet? The last Edit on your installer post is April 30 so it doesn't look like it.

Jancsika, if the file is changing size when just doing a save then the editor you are using is adding something to the file and whatever that is SMR doesn't like it.

I use Notepad++ with the XML plug-in and do a XML Pretty Print (which also includes a syntax check) before Saving.

In a word, yes. Or you could just add the Iron Mine resources but that would be tricky.

Yes, as I mentioned the Iron Mine is in a mod somewhere that needs to be installed.

Also Ohio Large requires Super Bowl Express to be installed as it requires the Tannery and Football Factory from it.

Okay, there is a nice Excel spreadsheet in the Wiki but it's a little complex so here is a simplified spreadsheet that just lists Resources and their relationships. I will try to add things from mods starting with the Holiday Scenario and post updates. DF P.S. while creating this I found the book ha...

First thing I noticed, the Iron Mine is not a standard resource that came with the game and must be installed if you want to use it so that is one reason it doesn't work with the clean install system.

Are you running Vista? In XP the CPU column is for percentage of CPU usage not which CPU is working on that process. I would start by going to Windows update and also HP for updates as laptops are special beasts and they usually have all manner of things running in the background that desktops don't...

Umm, I searched str_DEU.STR for Stadt and it is in there 161 times so you may have to do this on your own since I don't read German and can't figure out which one(s) need changing.

Well, the book has some nice pictures for Goods but posting those pages could get me into hot water and they aren't completely linked together so your sorta bouncing between pages trying to link it all up. I'll see if I can translate it but until then I think snoopy55 made a table of goods and there...
