Topic: How to enter Debug mode?

Sometimes Debug mode requires Debug code and on final releases the developers take out the debug code. And sometimes Debug mode only means 'verbose' mode which can still be of use but not as much a real debug. Debug mode is usually entered by adding a command line switch. It might be possible to sea...

I'm thinking that mods should not contain Global XML files. If a mod needs information to be added to a Gloabal XML file then the XML snippets should be added to the ReadMe.txt file with instructions on how to insert them. That being said maybe a ReadMe.txt template can be drawn up with consise inst...

I'm not really into creating Scenarios but mainly just the maps.

You might want to check out this thread if that's what you're referring to.

Okay, scalability. Those kind of numbers are little out of my current level of gameplay though. It would be really kewl to see a 225 sq. unit map with that many trains running around. :P It would probably take a pretty impressive system to make it look good.

I hope so, the Routing section is empty.

universum: Maybe this is a dumb question (I've only been playing for a week) but why do you want to stick with just one paltform?

Yes, I believe you have to give it a fully qualified file name in the Destination filename: box.

I have started writing in the Wiki under Creating Custom Maps about modifying the .tga file. Let me see if I understand your process here so I can add info if needed. 1. You started in the Terrain Editor and created a new map. 2. Open the .tga file in a graphics program and adjusted brightness by so...

Sorry, must have missed that in your first post. The only times I see trains waiting are when they aren't full or when there is a train blocking the way somewhere down the line. I don't know how it determines when to leave when Wait Until Full is NOT checked though. :? Are you patched to 1.1.0.0? Do...

I think that was me.

I started working on the Wiki under Creating Custom Maps. You guys should take a look and let me know what you think. I put a bit in there about Sea Level too.

Don't forget that if you select Wait til full and the city is small you might have to wait for it to produce whatever you're hauling before the train can leave.
