Re: UK Harder Version
Thanks for the encouragement! And wow, I'm impressed with your game skills with 30 years to spare! I just barely made it to victory and I had the advantage of having set the conditions myself! lol

Re: UK Harder Version
Thanks Jancsika, that means a lot coming from you! I appreciate the encouragement. I am working up the nerve to make my own unique map (the terrain editing and decorating part is the only thing holding me back - I find it really tedious and boring lol) but hopefully I will get on it one of these days!

UK Harder Version
This is based on the UK stock map but with a number of new cities added and some new and pretty challenging objectives. It can be beat, but it may take you a few tries! This map uses all stock parts and should should run fine in a clean User Maps folder. Some tips: -Start with many trains on short r...

Re: France Harder Version
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the challenge! Perhaps I'll try my hand at harder versions of some of the other stock maps.

France Harder Version
As part of my efforts to learn how to make my own map and give something back to the community, I decided to start by taking a stock map and adding more victory conditions and changing the existing ones to make it harder. This map is now definitely a challenge, but for experienced players it is prob...

Re: Borneo Island Map Final Release
I have min 2300 and max 3500 virtual memory. But I only actually have 1.5 gig of RAM. I also have a program called eboostr which lets you essentially have the equivalent of readyboost on your xp system. I use a 4 gb flash stick with it and it seems to help a bit with some games in that I don't lag a...

Re: Borneo Island Map Final Release
Yes I use XP and I can get about two thirds through the first era but then I run out of memory and crash. That's why I'm whining in the first place lol, 'cuz I can see how much fun I'm missing out on in the rest of the game.

Re: Borneo Island Map Final Release
Sadly my old computer just can't handle this one with my measely 2 gb of RAM limit on my motherboard. If there was a stripped down version of this without all the graphics and cosmetic add-ons (I know that's almost sacrilege to say but the scenario itself seems a lot of fun and worth playing!) would...
